THE ENVIOUS ME!
Many time I starved.
While my friends are buying all the cravings they want
It’s poverty, I know.
However, I envy.
Beautiful sweater, jeans and trousers
Eyes shimmer’s whenever I found them, Oh!
Not on me but fitted on other people’s body.
I don’t have one because of poverty.
I know but I envy.
I understand, it’s poverty.
Nevertheless, I envy.
Asking the entity, why me?
Jaundice is what killing me.
Feeling it all the way, I realized
There’s more to life than what it is today.
Priorities, gratefulness and dreams
“Why?” is not the question I needed to overcome.
It is the “How?” to look for these situations optimistically done.
